Shizuishan Pengsheng Chemical Attended CPHI Japan 2024
Shizuishan Pengsheng Chemical, one of the main manufacturers of dicyandiamide (CAS:461-58-5) in China, attended CPHI Japan from April 17 to 19, 2024. Our company also produces calcium carbide (CAS: 75-20-7), calcium cyanamide (CAS:156-62-7) and guanidine hydrochloride (CAS:50-01-1). As a company located in the northwest area of China, by participating in the exhibition, we made ourselves known by more customers in the field. We exchanged views and shared market information with our customers during the exhibition.
From several years ago, our company started to export calcium cyanamide granules to Japan market in large volume. Calcium cyanamide, a kind of black and grey granular solid, is an important nitrogen fertilizer. And it has the characteristics of high nitrogen content, rapid decomposition, easy absorption by crops. In recent years, we mainly export this product to Japan, Korea and India. We also visited some of our other customers in the demand of dicyandiamide.
The world has changed a lot since the outbreak of Covid-19. Global supply chain seems also effected by the disease. Some other issues like Russia-Ukraine war and Red Sea crisis has also disrupted global trade. Demand to chemicals slowed down this year and prices dropped a lot compare with previous years.
