Guanidine hydrochloride, CAS number: 50-01-1, IS a widely used CHEMICAL hydrochloride.
Guanidine hydrochloride is divided into two specifications: industrial grade and reagent grade. The main content of guanidine hydrochloride in industrial grade is more than 99%, which is mainly used as antistatic agent for synthetic fibers. Reagent grade guanidine hydrochloride main content is more than 99.5%, and does not contain ammonium salt, mainly used as medicine, pesticides and other organic synthetic intermediates, can also be used in the synthesis of anti-anemia drug folic acid, and as a powerful protein denaturant.
The preparation of guanidine hydrochloride generally takes dicyandiamide and ammonium chloride as raw materials, and carries on the melting reaction at 170 ~ 230℃ to get the guanidine hydrochloride crude product. After refining, the finished product is obtained. This paper introduces a new kind of synthesis and production process of refined guanidine hydrochloride.
